He is survived by: his wife Shirley Youngren; his children, Lisa Hassel, Jody Youngren (Aaron Kirkland), Jackie (Derek) of Klerk and Jason Youngren; his grandchildren, Ivy, Mayla, Lauren, Kamryn, Koen, Sybille and Delphine; his siblings, Gord (Roswitha), Doug (Norma), Marlene (John) and Faith; and his sister-in-law Catherine. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
