He was predeceased by: his wife Iris Maruschak; his parents, John Sr. and Julia; his brothers, Peter Kopchuk, John Kopchuk Jr. and George Kopchuk; his sister-in-law Florence Kopchuk (Philip Kopchuk); his sister Katerena Veskerna (Kay); his brother-in-law Ralph Veskerna (Mary Atamanchuk); and his nephew Taras Atamanchuk.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Nicholas Anderson, Terry Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Tatiana Mijajlovic, Yuliana Kopchuk and Murphy Kopchuk (Liliana); his great grandchildren, Hunter Anderson Andronick, Carson Anderson and Avalanna Shepherd; his great great grandchild Eden Andronick; and his sister Stefanya Kopchuk (Staffa).
