Michael Marianicz Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 19, 2026, Michael Marianicz (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nikolai "Nick" and Maria; his stepmother Annie; his wife Marlene; his in-laws, William and Eileen Bryks; his siblings, Anne Ostafichuk (Metro), Eli and Bill Marianicz; and his nephew Roland.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Lauweryssen (Don), Lee (Karen) and Lori; his grandchildren, Elaine, Brant, Nikolai and Anjelica; his siblings, John (Angela), George (Shirley) and Jessie Albright (Clare); and his sisters-in-law, Roma Marianicz, Donna Johnstone (Ian) and Kathy McLelland (Peter). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
