He was predeceased by: his son Iain Douglas Watson (Edmonton); his siblings, Rev. John Watson (England) and Rosemary Kinghorn (Scotland); and his siblings-in-law, James Kinghorn, Tony Hayes-Allen, June Watson and Ann Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy May Watson (Jody); his children, David Watson (Susan), Shelagh Watson-Preuss (Lowell), Ruth Klebe (Helmut), Deonaidd, Jenny Osborne, Brad, Hughie Morrison (Nicky) and Stacey Evans (Stephen); his grandchildren, Julie Watson (Derek), Amy Jacobs (Adam), Daniel Watson (Nicholas), Andrew Klebe (Niki), Wendy White (Sheldon), Adam Preuss (Kaylee), Nathan Osborne (Breanne), Stephen Osborne (Jennelle), David Watson (Avery), Lelan Boros (Alex), Brittny Maertens-Poole (Ryan) and Samantha Kennedy (Troy); and his siblings, Rev. Robert Watson, Rev. Timothy Watson (Sue) and Catherine Hayes-Allen. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Anglican Church (11035 127 St, Edmonton, AB T5M0T3).
