He was predeceased by : his wife Elsie; and his daughter Helen Lewicki. He is survived by : his children, Bill Wychopen, Anne Jendruck, Ed Wychopen and Evelyn Wychopen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
