With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Natalya Wilson (Edmonton, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Natalya left this world on March 6, 2025 at the age of 101, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lev Nikolaevich Kanabeev and Anna Podtiaguin; her former husband W. I. Lopato; her son Michel Lopato; her grandson Alexis Lopato; and her former husband John Richard Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Catherine Lopato; her grandson Adrien Lopato of Ségny, France; her stepchildren, Antonia (Toni), Bluher (Gregory) of Ellicott City, Maryland and David Wilson (Michele) of Atlanta, Georgia; her stepgrandchildren, Katherine, Jacob, Elizabeth Wilson, Andrew, Julia and Sarah Bluher; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ashwin Vengurlekar, Casey, Julian Beach, Matthew and Evangeline Baldea.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Barbara's Russian Orthodox Cathedral (10105 96 St, Edmonton, AB T5H2G3).
