He was predeceased by: his wife Frances; his parents, Frank Neilson and Elizabeth Neilson; and his siblings, Marion, Frances, Evelyn and George.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Dominic, Lucas, Matthew and Wynn; his sister Jean; and his sister-in-law Lil.
