He was predeceased by: his wife Roma Worobetz; his parents, William and Mary; and his brother Ehor. He is survived by: his sons, Gregory (Oksana), Lionel and Chris (Cheryl McAllister); his sister Gloria (Wally Shoemay); his grandchildren, Raine, Tory, Alyssa, Jamie (Connor Guilherme), David and Lara; and his great grandchildren, Hadara, Lilia and Canaan. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (10951 107 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5H2Z5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
