He was predeceased by: his father Alex; his brothers, Carmen and Calvin; his nephew Darrel; his stepfather George; and his mother Anne.
He is survived by: his sons, Cory (Melody) and Justin (Kaylee); his grandchildren, Athena, Lily, Brayden and Tyler; and his siblings, Lauretta (Ron), Darrel and Randy (Juziel). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
