She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. John MacKay and Elaine MacKay. She is survived by: her husband Emile Lirette; her daughters, Rachel Lirette and Christine Lirette-Waltz (Chris Waltz); her granddaughter Nora Waltz; and her siblings, Ian MacKay (Sandy MacKay), Heather MacKay, Leslie Bosco (Joe Bosco) and Debbie MacKay.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 17th 2027 at 2:00 PM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (52356 Range Rd 232, Sherwood Park, AB T8B1B8).
Her contributions to early childhood education, her commitment to lifelong learning, and, above all, the love she shared with her family and friends will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
