He was predeceased by: his wife Violet. He is survived by: his children, Barry (Karen) and Lori Martin (Andy) of Texas; his grandchildren, Tara Duerksen (Devin), Tasha, Justin and Hailey; and his sister-in-law Hazel Letawsky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Edmonton Humane Society.
