He was predeceased by: his parents, Eppo Eerkes and Epke Eerkes. He is survived by: his children, Mark Eerkes (Christina Kugler) and Kristina Eerkes; the mother of his children Anne Eerkes; his wife Darlene Eerkes; his stepdaughter Shalen House (Brian Schonewille); and his grandchildren, Nathan, Sarah, Ava, Paige and Luxanna.
