He was predeceased by: his wife Susi Maria Jaras; his brother Heinzi; and his parents, Josef Jaras and Bozena Jaras. He is survived by: his sons, Paul Jaras (Wayne Porterfield) and Peter Jaras (Tanis); his granddaughters, Paige and Leah; his friend Elfriede Tressel; and also, Cindy Zahara and Jennifer Redmond (Mike). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
