He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; and his parents, Basil Rivard and Helen Rivard. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Pat Barnay (Nick); his niece Char Bergen (Steve); his nephew Rick Barnay (Sandra); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adrian Lewicki (Amanda), Evan Lewicki, Victoria and Stephanie Barnay; and his cousin Nancy Ruff (Ron). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to St. Michael's Extended Care Centre Society.
