He was predeceased by: his sister Wil; and his parents, Peter and Wilhelmina. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Wiep; his wife Ernestine; his children, Liette (Ray), Michelle (Graham) and Kevin (Darcy); his grandchildren, Kellan (Summer), Rhett, Quinn, Grayson, Daylin, Kierah, Matt, Ben and Evan; his great grandchildren, Kade and Audrey; and his siblings, Cor Zuidema, Nieske (Kuipers), Nel (Gelderblom) and Eddie Zuidema.
