Peter leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Peter’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Peter will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Shirley Strap and Dr. Janice Strap (Andrew Latos); and his sisters, Elsie Tanasiuk (Eli), Veronica Kisilevich and Phyllis Dmytriw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church (9003 153 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5E6L4).
