He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alexis, Justine, Soloman and Mariah Musaskapoe; his parents, George and Betty; his sisters, Marguerite Rose Roy, Margaret Linda Roy and Evelyn Joan; and his nephews, Daniel Flint Thomas, Billy James Thomas, Dustin Bear and Vincent McAdam.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry J. Roy, Gilbert Roy (Sylvia Laliberte), Lawrence Roy of Edmonton, AB, Harvey Roy (Mary Jane), Richard Roy (Delphine) of Saskatoon, SK, Alex Roy (Linda Chamakese), George Roy (Marilyn), Marianne Adair of Edmonton, AB, Cora Thomas (Willie), Bernadine (Harry) and Anne Bear (Dennis); his children, Philip James Cardinal, Allan Thomas and Chasity Charles (Donavan); his grandchildren, Lyndon Bouvier, Kolby Bouvier, Azariah Calliope Thomas-Charles, Madison Bouvier and Avery Bouvier; and his niece Layna Thomas (Titter). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, adopted sisters and brothers.
