She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Karpenko and Maria Karpenko; and her husband Vasyliy Fizer. She is survived by: her children, Svitlana Fizer and Oleksandr Fizer (Oksana); and her grandchildren, Mykhaylo Kazyuk, Ivan Kazyuk, Tetiana Fizer and Yevheniia Fizer.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral (10825 97 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5H2M4).
