He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl McAuley and Anne McAuley; and his sister Laura Blanchette. He is survived by: his brother Dennis McAuley (Barbara); his nephews, Dennis McAuley (Erin), David McAuley and Patrick McAuley; and his niece Maureen Kendall (Ryan).

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Camp. He Ho Ha (https://camphehoha.com) as many of Randy's most joyous memories were from his time at summer camp.

“My sincere condolences to Randy's family. It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I had the pleasure of knowing Randy for 10 years when he volunteered at the the U of A Hospital Gift Shop. Randy was a great Volunteer. He never missed a shift and always gave 100%. To me, Randy was more than a Volunteer, he was my friend. I will miss talking about our favorite TV shows, his cat and how he loved going to camp in the summer. I will miss him so very much. Martina”
