He was predeceased by: his mother Zelma Buch; his brother George Knapp; his niece Jamie Dwyer; his nephews, Devon Dwyer, Dwight Speechley and Taarak Kjorsvik-Osterhout; his sister-in-law Debbie Knapp; and his niece-in-law Pat Kjorsvik.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his daughters, Lynn (Craig) and Tracy (Warren); his grandchildren, Katlyn, Mitchell, Alyssa and Rylan; his siblings, Sharlene (Jim), Jim (Lori), Bill (Doreen), Steve (Roxanne), Joe, Tom and Helen; and his sisters-in-law, Mae (Floyd) and Mollie (Gordon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many friends.
