He is survived by : his children, Jennelle Villaran (Jarrett), Amanda Katenga (Frank) and Justin Bernard (Candace); his grandchildren, Kai, Thea Villaran, Monica, Isaac, Luther Katenga and Kali Bernard; his siblings, Shirley Keresztes (Alex), Doreen Reilhan (Christian), Rosalie Bernard, Claudette Kuster, Carmel Bullerwell, Leona Markowsky, Richard Bernard (Connie), Andrew and Paul Bernard; his sister-in-law Phyllis Bernard; and his former life partner Julie. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, 10123-99St.
