He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his parents, Floyd and Emma; and his siblings, Lawrence, Marlene Strome (Allen) and Donna Schiele (Wallace).

He is survived by: his sons, Rick (Carolyn) and Kent (Sheryl Lynn); his grandchildren, Lana Whitmore (Wes), Rodney Brooks, Nicole Olson (James), Bradley, Turner and Jaxon Brooks; his great grandchildren, Carter, Olivia, Cash, Luke Whitmore, Grace, Josie and Wyatt Olson; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Brooks, Gladys Rude and Merlin Rude (Joanne).

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Emmaus Cemetery.
