Richard touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Anne; and his brother Terry Forberg. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his sons, Stephen (Viola) and Brent (Alison); and his siblings, Paul Forberg (Phyllis), Toralea Bourgeois and Tim Forberg (Sandra). He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Camrose United Church (4829 50 St, Camrose, AB T4V1P6).
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Richard's memory may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
