Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Garrett and Annette Garrett; and his brother Murray Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Wauneita Ross Garrett; his son David Garrett; his sister Barbara Easy (Tom); and his friend Darol Maunder (Darlene). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honour may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
