It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Ernst Hilbich (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; his grandson Caleb; and his siblings, Wilhelm, Walter, Elsbeth and Gertrud.
He is survived by: his children, Lydia (Guy), David, Tim and Frank (Becky); his grandchildren, Stephen (Stephanie), Sarah (Shane), Daniel (Anne), Michelle, David, Kristin (Carl), Maria (Zech) and Anita; and his great grandchildren, Ariella, Aidan, Adalyn and Axel.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the South Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Richard are greatfully accepted to Salem Manor, Leduc, where Richard lived the last 5 years of his life.
