He was predeceased by: his sister Gertrude Soetaert; and his parents, Zephyr Normandeau and Cecilia Normandeau. He is survived by: his children, Elaine Belanger (John), Heather Normandeau and Everett Normandeau (Trish); his brother Joe Normandeau (Susan) of Helensvale, Australia; and his brother-in-law Vincent Soetaert of Edmonton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
