He was predeceased by: his former wife Georgina; his parents, Elie Sabourin and Corinne Sabourin; and his siblings, Paul, Ernie, Alcide, Rita, Anita and Yvette.

He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Mark (Cindy) of Vimy, Colette Spak (Darcy) of Morinville, Adele Goulet (Corey) of Onoway, Janice Ostapchuk (Dave) of Edmonton and Diane Schnablegger (Craig) of Nanaimo, BC; his stepsons, James Landolt (Trish) of Mission, BC and David Landolt (Erin) of Calgary; and his sisters, Pauline Petryshyn and Elaine Petryshyn. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
