He was predeceased by: his father Russell Haggith; his stepfather Paul; his mother Marjorie Krysko; his brother-in-law Harry; and his siblings, Russell "Russ" and Melody.

He is survived by: his wife Bev; his children, Jeff Highstead and Kaitlyn; his grandchildren, Jessica and McKenzie; his sister-in-law Margaret; and his siblings, Dennis (Bev), Judi (Gord), Linda, Ian (Donna) and Brad (Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
