It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Despins (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Maurice. He is survived by: his significant other Elsie; his daughters, Elaine (Howard), Patsy (Ernie), Diane and Connie (Andy); his grandchildren, Michael, Justin (Joan), Kelsey (Chad), Jenna and Colleen; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Brandon, Quinn, Mara, Harlow and Jonathan; and his siblings, Ronald and Jacquie.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who wish to honour Bob's memory to spend time with their loved ones and cheer a little louder at the next Oilers hockey game.
