He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bastian and Else Bastian. He is survived by: his wife Olga Bastian; his children, Ron Bastian of Calgary, Alberta and Monica St (Owen); his brother Egon Bastian (Erika) of Kelowna; and his sister-in-law Herta Neumann of Westlock, Albert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
