He was predeceased by: his wife Maxine Ann Knopp; his brother Don; his parents, John and Alice; his stepmother Lydia; and his siblings, Myrtle, Lorraine, Oliver and Bill.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy René (Michel), Kerri Sack (John) and Kevin Knopp; his grandchildren, Amanda René, Justin René, Travis Best (Torie), Riley Sack and Taylor Sack; his great grandchildren, Payton, Cara and Cohen; his siblings, Dorothy, Nona (Jerry), Aileen (Jim), Wayne (Maureen), Jim, Wes (Donna) and Adolph (Hazel); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria, Jackline and Val. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hainstock's Funeral Home (9810 34 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E6L1).
