He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph and Olga; and his siblings, Jim (Mary) and Marylin (Ted). He is survived by: his children, Joshua (Megan) and Jaclyn (Joel); his grandson Seb; and his siblings, Robert (Sharon) and Doreen.

A memorial service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2).
