He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret'Marjorie' Miner and James Miner; his former wife Bernadette; his sister Marion; and his son Brian.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Marshall; and his children, Edward, Kevin and Kim. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
