She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schartner and Rebecca Schartner; her daughter Della; her grandson Jesse; and her husband Alvie.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Esau (Stella), Rick Esau (Glenda), Wanda Franke (Dennis), Wanita Jerusalimiec (Daniel) and Robin Esau (Cindy). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
