He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Levitt and Alvin Levitt; and his siblings, Maureen, Bonnie Levitt and Bill Levitt.

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Doug (Cassandra), Mathew (Kirsten) and Jennifer (Lance); his sisters, Becky (Doug) and Marianne (Duane); and his grandchildren, Parker, Lucy, Mickey and Sonny. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the FARRM animal sanctuary (Wetaskiwin, Alberta).

He stood out - in all the finest ways - caring, ready to help any situation, very bright & perceptive, fun, and so on - such a heartening person to encounter and get to know. A real pillar of the church, and just plain such a nice person. Now, every Conference I go to, there will be a hole in not seeing him, but overriding thanks for having met him.”
