With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Selma Lawson (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Hearst, Ontario, who passed away on April 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Selma Lawson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband George; her parents, Otto Koivisto and Margaret Koivisto; and her siblings, Alan, William and Carol.

She is survived by: her children, Dawn and Wayne (Shawn); her grandson Brodey (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Anita and Adam; her brothers, Ray (Rosemary), Veikko and Eric; and her pet Misty. She is also survived by several nieces and countless friends.
