Shirley Gifford Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Gifford (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Gifford of People's Group; her sister Joan (Hope); her parents, Stewart Smith and Irene Smith (Van Camp); her son-in-law Donald; and her brother-in-law Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra (Paul), Donna (Jean-Michel), Bradley (Margaret) and Linda (Bernhard); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Richard), Patricia (Walter), Katherine (Ben), David (Cassie), Zachary, Natalie and Madeline; her great grandchildren, Desmond, Ily, Elowyn and Ella; her sister-in-law Simone; her cousin Carolyn; and her caregivers, Geanne, Eunice and Editha.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Paul's United Church (11526 76 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6G0K7).
