With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Thachuk (Edmonton, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on March 6, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence; her grandson Tavis; and her siblings, Richard, Leon, Jack, Loretta, Vince, Wayne and Jerry.
She is survived by: her children, Donna (Roy), Deborah (Ken), Barry (Twyla), Colleen (Maurice) and Colette; and her siblings, Faye and Art.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Connelly-McKinley (9 Muir Dr, St. Albert, AB T8N 1G1). A prayer was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (75 Poirier Ave, St. Albert, AB T8N6A1).
