He was predeceased by : his wife Brij; and his parents, Bis Nath and Shiu Kumari of Fiji Islands. He is survived by : his daughters, Rita and Suman; his sons-in-law, Nathan and Nitesh; his grandchildren, Laila, Milan (Kanaiya), Rani and Ravi; and his nieces, Sharmila, Sunita and Savita. He is also survived by his five brothers and one sister and survived by four sisters.
