He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; and his parents, Peter Hnatiw and Louise Lavitzkie. He is survived by: his children, Nina McAviney (Kyle) and Devon Hnatiw (Sam); his grandchildren, Bennett and Finnley; and his sister Marilyn Nelson (Murray). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
