He was predeceased by: his parents, John Longson and Mary Longson; and his nephew Robert Henry. He is survived by: his wife Fay Longson; his children, Allison Chevrette (Mike) and Sam Longson (Amy); his grandchildren, Cameron, Erin, Chloe and Adrienne; his siblings, Marlene Henry (Don) and Doug Longson (Donna); and his siblings' children, Kristi, Brian and Gayle.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hope United Church (7909 82 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6C0Y1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanley's memory can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or the Mel Miller Hospice.
