He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Dunichand; his son Rajiv Elvin Shinoy "Dimpy" Dunichand; and his siblings, Shirin "Bobo" Solomon (Piare Lal), Kamini Robinson (Cyril), Rev Amir Chand Parshad (Rose), Parveen "Munni" Goldsmith (Edwin) and Amriti "Kuku" Robinson (Theo).
He is survived by: his daughters, Vibha "Reena" Solomon (Dee) and Abha "Kaju" Hoedl (Rob); his grandchildren, Andrew Solomon, Michael Solomon (Vanessa), Jacob Hoedl (Erin), Rayna Hoedl and Aisha Hoedl; and his brother Naveen "Babu" Dunichand (Venus).
