Sylvia Magnan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Magnan (Edmonton, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sylvia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sylvia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her parents, Mary and Adrian; her brother Ralph; her nephew David; and her sister Lorraine.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Park Memorial Reception Centre (11015 101 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Annunciation Roman Catholic Church (9420 163 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5R0A7).
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to WIN House as their mission of supporting individuals fleeing domestic abuse was a cause very close to Sylvia's heart during her time as a social worker.
