He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon and Wilma; his brothers, Harris and Douglas; and his nephew Travis.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Colby; his brother Milo Colby (Shirley); his sister-in-law Heather; his sisters, Susan Aquin (Bruce), Lisa Thompson (Bob) and Connie Hinz (Roy); and his brother-in-law Randie Carlsen (Maureen). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
