He was predeceased by : his parents, Cai Van Nguyen and Thi Thi Phan; and his son Steven Nguyen. He is survived by : his wife Maria Gloria; and his children, Christopher and Melissa (Enrique). He is also survived by siblings, cousins, nieces/nephews and many friends.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (10530 116 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5H3L7). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
