He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Karall and Pearl Karall; his parents-in-law, Peter and Josephine Sachkiw; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Oszust, Orest Sachkiw and Florence Koss.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie "Lass"; his children, Charlene (George Schmidt), Rob, Ken, Don and Doug; his grandchildren, Kevin (Corby), Darren (Shelley), Steven (Chelsie), Teague (Vanessa), Kailey (Kyle), Matthew, Thomas, Kyle and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Ethan, Lucas, Morgan, Sophia, Charlee and Misha; and his sister Vera Oszust. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
