She is survived by: her husband Bert Vriens; her sons, Allan, Daryl and Michael; her siblings, Betty Johnson (Alvin), Tony Schulmeister (Vicki), Ted Schulmeister (Marg), Rose Marie Schulmeister (Bruce), Stan Schulmeister (Lorie), Rita Schulmeister and Ed Schulmeister (Darcy); and her brothers-in-law, Bob Booth and Scott Walker.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Church (2707 34 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6T1P5). A reception will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Main Reception Hall (2707 34 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6T1P5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Alberta Cancer Foundation, Good Samaritan Society PPDD, or Elves Adult Program.
