It is with sadness that the passing of Thérèse Beatrice Yakiwchuk of Edmonton, Alberta is shared. Thérèse, born on January 17, 1946 in Wainwright, Alberta, passed away on October 11, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Benoit and Albertina Benoit. She is survived by: her husband Ernest; her daughters, Edna Roshko (Sean), Evelyn Stapleton (Wayne), Elaine Yakiwchuk Chilibeck (Kori) and Emily Strof (Tim); her grandchildren, Megan Roshko, Danielle Roshko, Teagan Stapleton and Declan Stapleton; and her siblings, Andre Benoit (Val), Madeleine Leipnitz (Dean), Roger Benoit (Bev), Cecile, Angele Boucher (Gerard) and Claire Charest (Gerald).
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church (9420 163 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5R0A7).
