He was predeceased by: his father John; and his nephew Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Kimberley; his son Brandon; his stepsons, Derick and James; his mother Rosemarie Dowie; and his siblings, Glenda, Felicia (Mark), Cal and Ian. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
