He was predeceased by: his father Franjo Kovačić (Frank); and his grandmothers, Sofija Kovačić and Mara Kovačić. He is survived by: his sisters, Suzanne Anderson (Darcy), Simona Shropshire (Tyler) and Diana Mosicki (Josh); his nieces and nephews, Jacob, Ella, Jordan, Alistair, Hannah and Paulina; his uncle Mladen Kovačić (Jana); and his cousins, Vladimir Kovačić (Tammy) and Dubrovko Kovačić (Ashley).
